GET INVOLVED

Too often, zoning requests are approved quietly while most of us are at work. By the time neighbors notice, people are already posting on Nextdoor and Facebook, guessing what’s being built — instead of knowing the facts from the very start when applications are first submitted.

Your presence makes the difference! Attending a meeting shows unity, pride, and stewardship of our community. When we show up, our commissioners see and hear the people they represent. That's how change is made.

ABOUT US

Protect Our Neighborhood is a Cobb County neighborhood awareness group committed to full transparency in zoning requests and land use decisions. We believe every resident deserves to know, in plain language, how these decisions impact our homes, schools, environment, and quality of life.

LET'S BE REAL:

Zoning talk can sound like blah-blah nobody understands. Protect Our Neighborhood breaks it down into straight-up plain words so you know what’s coming before the trees come down or new signs go up. We’re here to inform and mobilize, not politicize. We share county hearing calendars, active zoning applications, petitions, and opportunities to get involved so that neighbors are never left guessing what’s being built next door. By showing up together, we make sure our commissioners hear directly from the people they represent and that growth in Cobb County reflects the goodwill of its residents.

We are nonpartisan and DO NOT endorse any political party or campaign.
